Tips for Photo Engraving
If you're interested in a forever lasting photo engraving, please see the following tips so we can create the best image for you.
1) Size and resolution: Bigger is Better! Select the highest resolution image you have. We recommend you email the original image - no editing, thumbnails or text messages (they reduce resolution), processed photos, etc. We'll coordinate any image editing with you, and you'll approve the final design.
2) Photography: If taking a photo for us to engrave, consider zooming in on the subject and consider the effects of lighting, shadows, backgrounds, etc. Consider watching a few videos on optimizing your smartphone settings if you're using your phone for the photograph.
3) Material. We can engrave your image and wording on a variety of materials including granite, wood, marble, painted glass, or powder coated metal. Consider where and how you'll display the image to help you decide, such as using granite or marble for an outdoor remembrance, or a beautiful wood or glass plaque for an indoor collage.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, checks, and Zelle transfer. For bulk payments, a 50% deposit of the services estimate is required prior to starting the DSE process. Full payment of services and shipping costs are required upon completion of your work. We will send you proofs of your items prior to final engraving, and more pics of your item(s) prior to shipping to ensure your satisfaction. Cost estimates do not include sales tax. You'll receive an emailed estimate and invoice via Quickbooks that will include a payment link.
What is your return policy?
Once an item has been customized or personalized, we cannot accept returns or refunds unless the item was damaged during shipment. Please know that we will correspond with you during the design process to ensure your items are perfect before we engrave. Still not happy? Talk to me, Goose!
